The reading of tabaco is one of the oldest divinatory traditions of the Caribbean. Long before the arrival of Europeans, the Indigenous peoples of the Caribbean held tabaco as a sacred plant, an offering, a medicine, and a bridge between the visible and invisible worlds. In fact, the word cigar comes from the Indigenous Caribbean word used to describe rolled tabaco.

Over time, spiritual practitioners, healers, and seers developed the art of reading tabaco by observing how the cigar burns, the shapes formed by the ash, the movement of the smoke, and the overall behavior of the cigar while it is being smoked. Through these signs, messages, patterns, obstacles, opportunities, and spiritual influences can be revealed.

How It Works

This is a remote reading.

After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email containing instructions that must be followed before your reading is performed. These instructions help establish the connection between you, your question, and the reading itself.

Once your reading is complete, you will receive the following via email:

• Photographs of the cigar and its burn patterns
• A detailed PDF interpretation of the signs and symbols revealed during the reading
• A voice recording explaining the messages, observations, and guidance received through the cigar

Each reading is performed personally and intentionally, honoring the sacred traditions from which this practice was born while providing practical guidance for your present circumstances.
